Kemery Posted October 30, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2022 I'll be on Carnival Celebration from Mar. 5-12, 2023. Right now it says ship arrives Port of Miami at 8 am. We've cruised before but I honestly can't remember how accurate that is. I feel like we've always arrived in port much earlier. Anyway, do you think I'm safe with an 11:40 am flight out of Fort Lauderdale? I have a feeling it's a busy time for the airport. We also have TSA pre-check. Flights from Florida to Chicago that Sunday are OUTRAGEOUS right now.
FTLCruiseGal Posted October 30, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2022 You should make it no problem. It’s a Sunday and there shouldn’t be traffic. Should be to the airport in about 30 minutes.
havanadaydreaming Posted October 30, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2022 Debarkation 2 days ago in miami was easy breezy. We were off the Conquest by 830am. Took 5-10 mins. Grabbed van shuttle on street $20pp to FLL. Used Delta porters to avoid gate agent line. TSA no line. We were at gate way in advance for 1138am flight. Like 75 minutes early. Rare georgiacat Posted October 31, 2022 #4 Share Posted October 31, 2022 Don't use the Carnival transfer bus for port of Miami transfer to FLL. We did this in September: debarked from ship about 8:30 am; sat in sun; buses started coming for FLL airport about 10:30. True the ride was less than an hour, and our flight was at 2 pm, so we were okay. Next time I will take a taxi or something else.
