Debarkation & Flight Time from Port of Miami to FLL

I'll be on Carnival Celebration from Mar. 5-12, 2023. Right now it says ship arrives Port of Miami at 8 am. We've cruised before but I honestly can't remember how accurate that is. I feel like we've always arrived in port much earlier. Anyway, do you think I'm safe with an 11:40 am flight out of Fort Lauderdale? I have a feeling it's a busy time for the airport. We also have TSA pre-check.

Flights from Florida to Chicago that Sunday are OUTRAGEOUS right now.

Don't use the Carnival transfer bus for port of Miami transfer to FLL.  We did this in September:  debarked from ship about 8:30 am; sat in sun; buses started coming for FLL airport about 10:30.  True the ride was less than an hour, and our flight was at 2 pm, so we were okay.  Next time I will take a taxi or something else.
