I have looked at the deck plans and as yet I have no decision on which deck may have the better balcony. Deck 10 may have the deepest balcony,

Deck 8 has a wrap around and I'm not sure what the benefit may be on deck 9.  

If any of you who has recently sailed on the  Star can offer an opinion, I would very much like to hear your thoughts.

Avoid 8 as you are above Bliss.  I recall when bidding first started, people would bid on those categories, they'd win but get the rooms on 8, then they'd report how bad the noise was.

I can recommend 10728, a suite.  We enjoyed it so much in October we booked it again for next May

Thank you, deck 10 was my preference..but I wasn't sure of what deck 8 and 9 may have to offer. I will try to get 10726.. it's going to be a long journey next Fall.
