Since Jamielogical is doing a live, I will attempt to only do a menu, good porn, and Patters from this cruise.

Since we had a delay (missed connection) in Chicago, I started out with a Chicago dog and can't believe I didn't get a picture.  Then on the plane, we had used airline miles and booked first class.  Had a great meal on AA.  This morning at the Irvine Marriott had a nice skillet.  And now, time to head to the ship.

I did order flowers for my wife's birthday.  You just go to the front desk after you get on board. I thought they were reasonably priced and when they showed up they were gorgeous. I was extremely pleased. And some people consider me a tightwad.  I would highly recommend. They make the room smell wonderful.

The floral arrangement is beautiful. Money well spent, and you will both enjoy them every day!

Yes, by other information posted, no Prime Rib on the first night.  And the Alfredo is gone!  Maybe on offer on some nights.  These are 'improvements'?  And, the desserts too.  No souffle?   That Banana's Foster looks very good though!

How was the lasagna that is always on the menu?  It looks to be light on cheese, and very heavy on the meat.   Which isn't the way I like it.

I will be curious about the lasagna. I love a good lasagna.

There was a milky chocolate hazelnut soufflé listed.

Banana fosters - is that every night?

There has been a few souffles.  And they have been very good.  Especially the orange on embarkation lunch.

Lasagna was not bad.  I thought it was about right on meat and cheese.  However, there was no Ricotta, which I like and expected.

The deli meats in the buffet have been better than I remember.  I love them.  Much better than we get back home.  Reminds me of Germany.
