I noticed that the lobster roll was missing from the boarding day lunch menu.  Disappointing.

Would be on with u if Carnival hadn’t offered us that free Hawaii cruise this month—we really enjoyed it!

Plenty of space to opine on a number of issues. I actually like this better than the cruise-end survey. Those survey questions are so “leading” and really make it a challenge to just say what I want to say.

Thanks for doing this review. We are following along intently as we are on Beyond for a B3B in suites in a couple of weeks. So far I love the Bourbon selection you mentioned in the retreat and not happy about no lobster roll in Luminae, but like you say, maybe it will be on menu another day.

So, Luminae is open for lunch on Day 3 and Day 7. According to the app, the lobster roll is on the Day 7 lunch menu. We shall see.

Thanks! Sometime this week could you inquire if the petite filet mignon is still available on the children’s menu? That is my wife’s go to if she doesn’t like the night’s menu. Much appreciated!

Thank you for the update. It will be interesting to see what the reality turns out to be.

Took a walk through the Oceanview Cafe at lunch time to see what the offerings were. It was very crowded. Appeared to be a good variety. Pasta station, Stir fry station, grilled offerings. Here are a bunch of pictures:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tomorrow night I will wander through to see the dinner offerings.

Dinner tonight was at Fine Cut. We enjoyed it . Steaks were done perfectly, tasty sides, and a great view!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Only disappointing part was dessert. The Ultimate Sundae had no hot fudge, vey little whipped cream, very little caramel sauce. It was sooooooo good on the Edge last year..

Just got out of the first Production show —- Stage Door. We both thought it was fabulous. Great singers, and the theatre stage is really wonderful. While theatre is great with excellent sight lines. Those screens —- wow.

Gotta say, the OV is mobbed for breakfast, at least at 10am. Unfortunately, it’s all you got at that hour. Luminae is only open 7:30 - 9:00, even on sea days. That really is insufficient. As I recall is was until 10:00 on sea days. Not everyone is up at the crack of dawn, just sayin. 
 

Cosmopolitan is the MDR for breakfast and it also is only open 7:30- 9:00.

Interesting. On our 10/26 Beyond sailing the hours for those venues were 8:00-9:30 on seadays. I wonder why the half hour shift earlier?

Sees odd to me. I would much prefer the 8-9:30.
