Specialty Dining Package & Chef's Table Questions

Good Evening Everyone, 

 

My husband and I have recently book our first Celebrity Cruise. We normally cruise with Royal or Carnival. Anyway I just  want to confirm that I understand a couple of things before we purchase the 3 Night Specialty Dining Package.

 

1. Does Celebrity automatically book you, for their specialty dining restaurant of choice for embarkation night?

(Which means then we only get to pick 2 nights worth of restaurants)

 

2. Once the specialty dining package is purchased, can you make your reservations pre-cruise or do you have to wait until you are on board?

 

3. In your opinion is the Chef's table worth it? (Please share your experience)

No they don’t pick your first dinner.  When you board go to any of the specialty restaurants and book your 3 dinners.  Be flexible with dates and times.  No you can’t book until you are on the ship.

if you look at your Cruise Planner they often will off 30% off the 1st night and you can pick your time, 

We have not done the Chefs table.
