Protein supplement @ customs?

Hello,

We're doing a 6 week trip (NZ +TP + before and after) in March. We'll be flying into Sydney, and I know that Australia is very strict on what you can bring in. I take a daily protein supplement, in powdered form. I will of course declare it, and it will be in our checked bag as opposed to carry-on. Do you think this will be allowed in?

Yes, you will be able to bring it in. But yes do declare and it will need to be in your checked luggage because of the size of the item. You could buy the supplement here before sailing.

Happy I saw this! I was going to ask the same thing. Thanks for the info and link to the guidelines.
 

I’m bringing a new packs as well! Thankfully my brand switched from the tubs to just resealable bags making them much easier to put in the luggage.
