Sonyar Posted March 1, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2023 Trying to claim off TUI for a flight delay. They phoned me and insisted they need the TUI flight reference despite me sending them our boarding passes. This was a P&O charter so our agent checked with P&O then said there's no booking reference. They said TUI were known for being obstructive. Anyone successfully claimed off TUI, how did you get around this?

Mad4WDW Posted March 1, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2023 We’ve successfully claimed for flight delays with TUI charter flights to a P & O cruise recently. We didn’t do anything other than fill in the form on the TUI website. The reference number was something the form asked for. There isn’t a reference number as far as I know, I was told by our travel agent to just fill in 1234567 as the number. I’ve done that on 3 claims which all went through. Seems like they’ve done away with the form as a way of making it harder to claim, I can’t see the link to the form on the page I used before. Good Luck! wowzz Posted March 1, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 1, 2023 Can't help too much, but on another well known SM page there is lots of information about getting refunds.
