Starlink on Odyssey of the Seas?

Hello,

 

We will be on the Odyssey of the Seas in late April and we have a question about starlink.

 

For those who have sail on the Odyssey of the Seas recently, has the ship transition into using Starlink?

How is the speed and is it worth buying the internet package?

I’m on Odyssey right now.  The ship is running Starlink and it’s been consistent but not blazing fast.  I’ve done several tests and the image is of a test I just ran.  It’s typical for the week.

That's still way better than Princess.  We were on their newest ship during Christmas and the download speed 0.8 and sometimes, 0.5.  When I did a WhatsApp call to my friends, It lags so mcuh that we have to take turn to talk.  She will speak then I waited until she's done and 30 sec later, I would respond. It was horrible.

The internet was good on Odyssey but like mentioned above...it's not blazing fast. I was hoping when I went into my phone to download e-mails it would be much faster than it was...there was still a noticeable lag....but much better than it was years ago on a ship.

I will be doing on the odyssey for the transatlantic in April. Can anyone comment on the food and services? Thank you for any observations you may have.
