Premier Package Discounts

Hello. A friend of mine is thinking about purchasing the premier package just prior to departure. Is it possible that they’ll get a discount?

It seems to be a flat fee per day.  I have not seen a reduction in that flat rate.

Welcome to Cruise Critic!  I doubt that any discounts are to be had on the packages...of course it never hurts to ask!

Why do it then?  They should wait and purchase on board on embarkation day.  If they have trip insurance, they save that upcharge on the cost of the Premier cruise fare.  If the have OBC, the OBC can be used towards paying for the cost of the Premier cruise fare package.

 

I do hope you are meaning the Premier Cruise Fare option and not the Premier Beverage package.  Your friend - and anyone else for that matter - should never be ordering the beverage package standalone as it is a rip-off financially speaking.

Not technically a discount,  but you can save 10% by buying  gift cards from AARP.

If they got travel insurance, buying the package on day 1 saves the difference of buying insurance at a higher vacation cost. 

That plus the 10%off is nothing to sneeze at.
