QM2 Atrium View Cabins

We had 5132 across the hall from an atrium view room. It mostly looked like an ocean view room, without the view.

Unless you were standing at the window, your view is just the windows across the atrium. I saw this as a short peek as the cabin was being cleaned on a turn around day - did not want to bother the cleaner by walking up to the window.

We've had atrium view cabins a few times. They're perfectly acceptable, and some people prefer them. But like majordomo and TheOldBear, we didn't think that they were any better than a standard inside. The view is singularly uninspiring and, in our opinion at least, not worth the added expense. My advice would be to book an ordinary inside cabin or, as we now do, bite the bullet and get a cabin with a view of the sea.
