The ships internet…

 

I wasn’t sure when I started this “live” that I’d be able to do it. I saw a lot of complaints on cruise critic about not being able to load pages and upload pics. We are day 3 and I’ve had zero issues. I haven’t streamed or attempted anything with video. I have a single device package and have been switching between two devices constantly. All my internet (cruise critic), news, stocks have been on my IPAD. When I need to make a phone call I switch to my iPhone. No problems or complaints.

You could try "The Pitch" there. It's a modified Long Island that comes out green from the addition of Midori. My only issue with it, like with Long Islands, is that it can vary greatly from one bartender to the next due to all the liquors in it. Some I've liked, some were not as good.

BTW, if I'm posting too much, just let me know. I assume you want feedback and this thread is helping take the place of having cruising companions but I can shut up.

 

I just work from home and this is a very slow time of year for me so I have a lot of free time while my wife is at work. Couple that with reading Cruise Critic incessantly when I have a cruise coming up and here I am.

Haha… you all are my traveling partners this week. I love the participation. Please post all you’d like and ask any questions. Trust me.. I understand obsessing more than most. 😁

 

Currently just chilling in Central Park. This area is heaven if you can find a spot in the shade. Had to have another mint berry delight. Delicious.

I entered one a long time ago, not a fan. If you haven't noticed/figured it out yet, it's all about the betting. You may have to do goofy stuff towards the end of your round if you're behind (i.e. bet big to catch up or double down in a spot you'd never normally double just to get extra money on the table). It has very little in common with just sitting down and playing normal BJ as far as strategy goes. GL!

I hated it. The waiting was putting me to sleep. It is far from regular blackjack. I bet big and was out in 2 rounds which wouldn’t have been a big deal if I hadn’t waited 45 minutes. One and done for me.

You haven't made it to Vintages yet?

It's our favourite bar on the ship after dinner. We go every night for a nightcap or 3 🍷🍹🙂

Last time I was there, they made me the best ever Passionfruit sombrero. Have you tried those?

I know tequila's not your thing but they are sooo good when made correctly. Sometimes though they are missing one or two vital ingredients.

I had thought I’d be able to download some episodes of The Walking Dead from Netflix since I’m only in season 9 but apparently you can’t download everything on Netflix. 🙁 I just realized this about an hour ago. I guess not a big deal since I can’t seem to find my headphone charger. I guess if I’m lucky I’ll be able to stream from my room if not oh well.

The waitress just asked me if I don’t drink. 🤣🤣 I’m pretty drunk today, I’ve been going since 9 am. I’ve never been a fan of eating while iI’m drinking. 

Next up in French onion soup. Pretty good.
