Website availability

I know the ships are sailing full right now but why are there so many last minute cruises for sale on the website that are not actually available for booking?  

 

Is there a trick to these....is it all in the timing?  Is it better if you call?

I tried to get one last month. People cancel at the last minute. And the prices are still sky high due to demand.

It's all timing...check throughout the day as sometimes people will hold the room in their "cart" for some time and it will get released if they don't actually book the room.
