Casino Masters Royal Caribbean at terminal

I made Masters late last year and am enjoying the non-casino benefits. One question though, the paper showing tier benefits says Masters gets "priority access at the terminal". Last time I inquired in Miami where the priority line for Masters was, the guy looked at me like I had 2 heads and told me to get in the regular line. Once I'm on board I receive pretty much the same benefits as those with the key: they take my carryon bags at the dining room to my cabin, treat me to lunch including filet mignon, and special menu including filet and eggs for breakfast on disembark day in a much quieter venue than most other places on the ship along with several other benefits. The letter I receive from the Casino actually says they hope I enjoyed the Key benefits.

I just wonder, has anyone had any luck getting in either the pinnacle/suites or key entrance? Which entrance did you get in? I didn't need it one time but last time for Harmony, could have really used it. The line outside was not long, but once inside it was a zoo. I have 16 more cruises coming up. Some of them, I'm in a suite so no worries there, but a few I'm in regular balconies. After December I'll be Pinnacle so it'll be a moot point (and I'll still have the Masters benefits until 3/31/24). Thanks for any advice :)

Have a paper copy of your masters benefit for priority access at terminal to show at port. You can print it from the website.  Go to the suites/pinaccle entrance.  My sister had that problem recently but was able to “prove” her benefit.  The people at the port, as well as on the ship, do not always understand casino levels/benefits.  If “masters” is not on your seapass take an old seapass card that shows your level.  I doubt on any booking there are enough masters level folks to warrant their own entrance.  Katherine

My husband became masters before covid, & was surprised about it. But we go quite often, & Royal rates the player for the whole year, unlike our other deals with Princess & Carnival. So as you must know, the more we go, the higher he gets rated. He plays the same.

Anyway, last May, we went on Harmony in Port Canaveral, with a balcony. I showed a crew member outside, his paper about masters & priority. He also told us to get in the regular extremely long line, since we didnt have a suite, etc. Lately we've gotten jr suites. But on the newer ships coming up, we have balconies. I asked on the masters phone line, & they say the port crew should know, But of course they dont !!

And very few masters on each sailing, as I've asked at the key lunch, several times. Usually 8-12.

So I just saw Lady Hudson;s advice, which I had already have in my purse, ready to go for tomorrow, when we have a balcony on the wonder. Found his card from April's Jewel, that says masters(but very small), & had printed out a bunch of masters welcome emails for 2023. We'll see what happens.

Just got off princess today, & there we have our medallions to get in the elite line. No problem.

We were on Harmony a couple of times, while it was in Ft Laud, & soon after 1X while in Miami, in March.

Thanks all. I had my papers with me but the guy I talked to didn't want to entertain the idea that casino players of any sort had any kind of priority. Actually, on Serenade even guest services said they didn't know a thing about Masters benefits until I showed them the letter I received while on board. She said "different ships do things differently". Then I pointed out to her the letter was from her ship. She made a copy of my letter. When I went for the Masters lunch, the guy there told me to come back at 2. I started leaving then realized the lunch would be over at 1:30. He kept saying Muster is later. I kept telling him NOT Muster, MASTER. He finally gave up, took my bags and let me eat. I was surprised they didn't seem to know a thing about it. This was just in March 2023. I'll try again when I go on Adventure in June.

They always know about the masters lunch-you have to say the key lunch though, but they should  have a list there of the masters guests. On the wonder , the regular line was short, & fast moving.

One thing I did notice, for the first time- on the casino paper in the cabin, it says the masters benefits. It says masters do not need show reservations!! We did not have the ice show booked, so I went with that paper. Of course they had no idea about it, but he read that & let me in, right away!!

I was already at the Key lunch venue and he told me my name was not on the list. That's why I told him I was Master's and we started the back and forth about Muster/Master. I leave Saturday on Harmony but have a suite so won't be a problem for that or the following one which is back to back. When I'm on Adventure, I only have balcony and hope to be able to get in with priority since the App would not let me check in until the day after check in date so I got 12:30 arrival time. App kept telling me "Check in has checked out" I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the App. Since I'm going directly from disembark on Harmony (Miami) to embark on Adventure (Fort Lauderdale) and arriving on the RCCL bus I hope to be able to get in as soon as I arrive using Master status. We'll see how that goes

Yes, Miami. I didn't need it because I was b2b but am hopeful I'll receive something for my Adventure OTS out of Fort Lauderdale next week.

I plan on insisting...not sure how far that will get me if I don't have the letter to back me up. Last time when I wasn't permitted to go in any special line, I was almost late for the Masters luncheon bc I had to go through the regular line.

Update: I didn't get a letter for Adventure last week. I was able to get in the door after following another couple closely. They assumed we were together and I didn't let them think differently. Next cruise I'm in a suite so it won't be a problem getting in.
