Shout out to @Jamman54 for his recommendation of the Plaza Beach Resort in Bonaire. We are here now and it is amazing!! Thanks Jim! This will probably be our spot in Bonaire.

It was awesome!  Good snorkeling, decent food and drinks, nice pool, not too crowded.  I would totally go there again.

Did you take a taxi?

Yes.  They had a taxi stand set up outside the port.  We arranged with our driver to pick us back up later in the afternoon.  It worked perfectly.  We called her when we were ready and although she was on another fare, she sent someone else to come get us.  No problems at all.
