Hey all! I haven't cruised post pandemic and this is my first on Norwegian with booking entertainment ahead of time. I'm leaving for an Alaskan cruise on the Bliss in a few weeks. We have dinner reservations at Cagney's for 5:30, could I make the SIX show at 7? My husband and I are not night owls, so I wasn't sure if the 9:30 show would be too late. How long does the show typically last? Wasn't sure what to do since I can now make reservations for the shows... Thanks!

If you have drinks, appetizers, and desserts, it can last a couple of hours.  If you tell your server that you have 7pm reservations and ask that they bring they put in the order quickly and bring the salads immediately, then you should be just fine.  BTW, you can ask for a to-go box for your desserts, even if you simply want to save them for later.

When we saw '6' on the Bliss the show lasted about an hour. We did the MDR at 7.30 and we were at the show before 9pm. While you could do Cagney's at 5.30 and probably still see the show why rush...Cagney's is a great restaurant to enjoy.

Just tell your server that you have a reservation for SIX at 7PM.  They'll take it from there & get you out in time.

Have a good meal & enjoy SIX.

Let's hope they don't get confused and think you have a reservation to see "Se7en" at 6PM... 😵

We allowed for 2 hours last year because we were traveling w/MIL who was 88, and we're the ones who order 3 appetizers and 2 entrees each😁, but I think 90 mins is enough.  The shows usually last 45 mins from what I remembered.

FYI -- On the Prima recently, the system wouldn't allow you to make online show reservations that conflicted with dinner reservations. Some folks on our roll call had to call in or wait until they were onboard to "override" the system and allow them to book with less than 2 hours between them.

Six is 75 minutes long.

They will not always allow dessert to go and never give you a box.  It is always on a plate with a cover.

With a 5:30 reservation, you can usually arrive at 5:20 and will be seated.  Tell your server you want to attend the show and ask for expedited service.  Get your drinks ahead of time from another bar.  This will all help.  Six is popular and depending on the number of passengers you may want to arrive 20-30 minutes before the show starts.
