Another Classic Drinks Package Question.

As in the title.

Just checked my Celebrity App regarding details of my upcoming cruise from Southampton.

Can view details of menus etc. Noticed the dinner menu indicated that the lowest price for a glass of Rose/Blush wine was $12.

I assumed this was above the Classic Package limit as everything I have seen on the Celebrity site etc indicates that the limit is $10 per drink.

Further scrutiny of the app however indicated that the Classic Package drink limit is actually $12 for sailings departing UK and Australia.

Anyone confirm.

Yes because they include the gratuity

On sailings from the UK, Australia, and NA (maybe a few others) Celebrity adds the gratuity into the price and increases the drink package limit to also include gratuity.

We ran into this on a Hawaii cruise. The cruise before had left from Australia and ended in Hawaii. My cruise started in Hawaii and ended in Vancouver. The menus from the cruise before were still used on mine. Drink prices were higher but so was the drink package limit.
