Azura from Valetta next week

We are on P&O for the first time in 20 years (long story!), Azura fly cruise from Valetta 7 days Greek isles. My wife and I are really looking forward to it. I know there have been many changes in that time but we have opted for freedom dining which is obviously new to us in the hope that we can visit a couple of the speciality restaurants which you have to pre-book as they are very popular. My worry is that they will be fully booked by the time we board as most guests on board will be on their 2nd week of a 14 day cruise and all slots will be gone.  What are the chances of this?  Any advice would be appreciated.

My family were on In March but from Tenerife and October from Malta last year was the same. people had already been on the week prior and staying for the repositioning we managed to book the Beach House straight away, even during the week it came up fully booked, we checked the next day and they had plenty of space. You should hopefully be okay.

On some ships, you can pre book speciality dining before you do but I can't remember if Azura is one of them
