I vote crocs.  Stable, good grip and can add a pair of socks if it's actually cold. Takes the place of the flip-flops and the trainers, while being nearly weightless.  Space suckers though, so wear them!

We were on the Crown the trip after yours. Never above 52 the first 8 days, light misty rain. I wore my trusty old Timberland hiking boots, wife had bought a pair of Merrell hiking shoes she wore (also waterproof). You won't need super warm footwear, but I would consider waterproof a must.
