Dominican Republic which port for NCL? Taino Bay or Amber Cove

We docked at Amber Cove 12/22 on the Dawn & Taino Bay 12/23 on the Jade. Both are nice but we prefer Taino Bay, which is closer to town.  You are right about not knowing about specific location until closer to sailing.

the trip in 22 was probably when Taino Bay was closed down from the Escape damage.  At that time, NCL was docking at Amber cove when it could, or skipping the port all together
