Anyone drop of rental at Budget/ Avis Titusville instead of MCO?

Dropping off the rental back at MCO or Titusville is much cheaper than at the port ($200 cheaper).  I figured grabbing an Uber to the port from Titusville would be much cheaper than MCO, so Titusville had the edge.  Problem is, some reviews say that Budget Titusville location sometimes closes for lunch - staff shortages I assume?  Plus, the location looks rundown on Google maps - is that a safe area?  Would love to hear about your experience if you've done it!

You are correct! I also see great rates for Titusville Budget and some Melbourne locations too!

The area in Titusville is fine for a drop-off. Easy to get to and little traffic (unless there is a rocket launch).

 

I do not know about the office hours but I assume they will be there if you call to say you are on your way. After-hours drops are not available at Titusville.
