Onboard Future Cruise Vacation for Existing Reservation

I assume the answer is no, but cannot see anything specifically to the contrary. NCL the answer is yes, so figured it was still worth asking.

 

Can the onboard offer for the OBC/deposit be applied to an already booked existing reservation? Particularly if the pricing hasn't changed? Or is exclusively only able to be applied to new reservations.

 

Looking at a 2025 itinerary, but I'd rather secure the price now than roll the dice by waiting for my February 2024 sailing.

In the past we were told that we had to cancel the first booking before the Future Cruise staff could book.  Whether or not that is still the case I don’t know.

I believe it's still the same.  So you would have to book now with a refundable fare, cancel and rebook while onboard.

A new little twist that is occurring is that if there is a price drop after you book and you want to take advantage of it your lose your OBC for booking onboard.
