Tour that does not include Panama Canal

No real interest in seeing the Panama Canal. We like beaches, hiking, waterfalls. Would prefer an independent tour operator, not a tour through the cruise line.Your input is appreciated. Thanks.

What port do you want to do this from?  Are you on a partial transit, or a cruise that just calls at Colon?  EM

Also interested in a tour from Colon to Gatun Lake or other rain forest wildlife tour. We are on Constellation and in Colon Jan 29 and would prefer an independent tour company. Thanks for any advice.

Are you just calling at Colon or are you on a partial transit?  As far as independent tours, I am sure they can be found, but I don't have any that I have experience with.  At this time I think you are better off dealing with the ship as there have been a lot of demonstrations closing roads etc.  Carnival just cancelled a port call in Colon this week.  The issues may all be forgotten when you arrive and you can enjoy a tour, but dealing with refunds and cancellations are much easier with the ship.

Thanks for the quick reply 🙂 We are calling in Colon, not partial transit. Yes appreciate the good advice but wanted to see if anyone knew of a good independent tour operator in Colon for a non canal tour.
