Princess Excursions - Alaska

My wife and I are looking at the Princess excursions in Alaska. Only our second cruise ever and the first to Alaska. We feel more comfortable booking with Princess rather than independently.

If you book an excursion and later change your mind, can you cancel and get a refund? Or swap for another excursion? Just how does it work with Princess?

You can cancel and get a refund or rebook on the website up until about a week before the cruise. After that you have to visit the shore excursion desk to cancel and they can also help you rebook. The cancellation deadlines will be posted there

We have canceled the day before and had no problems receiving money back on our account.

You didn't say if you were doing a land tour or just the cruise, but note there is a separate policy for Alaska land tour excursions vs excursions from the ship/cruise portion.
