Future Cruise Credit

Quick question.  If we have say a $4000 cruise credit certificate and let’s say our cruise will cost 4,100.  But Celebrity wants a $200 deposit.  Is there a way when I apply the cruise certificate to get 100 dollars back of the 200 I put upfront?   I know I can use the certificate to when booking the cruise but we love to change our minds and want to wait to right before final payment before applying it.

I'd pay the deposit and save the fcc for the final payment and extras like dining if you can.  good idea not to give up the fcc up front!

Take a read -  the box on the Left say that if you use the FCC to book you can book without a deposit.    Never done it before.   I usually just apply it to an existing reservation at Final Payment Date.
