Le Havre Car Rental

We will be stopping in Le Havre on October 2nd and would like to find a car rental that's close to the cruise port.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

If that is your only criteria than you might want to check out rentacar.fr.  It helps if you can read French.  Not our favorite agency, but they are the only one with a location at the port (unless it is on a Sunday, Holiday, etc).

A few years ago they pushed an overpriced insurance deal that was mandatory.  That practice may have ended, but in Le Havre we would rent from other agencies outside the port, where prices were more reasonable.  They also had the audacity to be closed on Sundays.
 

That being said, if they are open the convenience is nice.

Hello Bubbaboat

Sept 2023 we used Enterprise Car Rental , 91 Quai de Southampton, 76600 Le Havre, France. It is located approx 15min walk directly from the cruise pier for where our ship was docked.  Expect this may vary with the location of your ships berth. It is the closest Enterprise to the cruise port we elected to walk entirely from the ship to the location. It was booked online, opens at 9am local time and allowed us to return after hours using their drop-off box.   The highways are accessible easily from this rental location.
