Dexcom G7 and Wi-fi

My husband and I are on the Summit in two weeks, and we have premium wifi for one device each. My husband is a diabetic and was just prescribed a dexcom g7 and I realized that this may require it's own wifi. Does anyone have any experience with this?

A quick look at the FAQs on the Dexcom website sez the device connects via Bluetooth vs. WiFi.  I personally have no experience, however.

You should calling Dexcom to see what you need 

I would think the deceive is connect by Bluetooth

It will all work fine. The pump will connect to your iPhone via bluetooth and the iPhone will connect directly to the premium wi-fi.  We've never had issues.
