Don't get me wrong - under the right situation (an itinerary I'd like to do that Viking doesn't offer) I'd go with Oceania again, but I'd be smarter on how we'd structure the experience.  The overall cruising experience was fine (we were on one of their smaller ships) and quite enjoyable.

Understood.... as we are Viking loyal (to this point) we have a friend that we want to cruise with and they will ONLY cruise on Oceania.  They won't budge to try Viking.  

I think that we will try Oceania in the coming years!

I’ve looked at Oceania’s website a couple of times as I’ve seen a few posts that mention how good they are, plus not as expensive as Viking however, and it may be different pricing as we’re in the UK, but I didn’t find their pricing cheaper than Viking. Also I didn’t think Oceania included as much as Viking so as far as we’re concerned it’s a no brainer - especially as we’ve thoroughly enjoyed our cruises with Viking.
