Feb. weather

We are considering booking the Polynesia and French Marquesas Islands on the Tahitian Princess. Feb. seems to fit our schedule best. I have heard that this is rainy season. Has anyone gone this time of year and what has your experience been with the weather. I hate to spend the money for 10 days of rain if this is the norm. Thanks, Mary

We went on our cruise in January and had a mix of days. The first three days were rainy, but we were also getting over a typhoon. The majority of days were sunny with some clouds. it seems like the only real rain we ever received was in Papeete. That being said, we loved this trip and can't wait to go back. There really isn't a bad time to visit.
