lovestx Posted October 27, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2023 We are seriously considering booking a Silversea cruise in October 24 that circumnavigates Japan in a clockwise direction. I was thinking that it would make sense to choose a cabin that is on the starboard side as we might see more interesting things than just the ocean from our cabin. Is that really a 'thing' in Japan? Or should I just pick the best location on the ship without regard to which side?

I was on Celebrity Millennium, the ship mostly dock on starboard side, where we could see the welcome and farewell performance by the locals.
