Broken wrist.

Due to fly/cruise to Barbados 18th November. Broke my wrist last night, not spoken to PandO yet, anybody any experience of this and would I still be able to travel?

It depends if you are in plaster I think. If it can be stabilised without a cast you may be ok. I think P&O may want a doctors letter confirming that you are fit to fly.

It will be down to what the current airline rules are - you will need to ask them.

 

Doubt that it will be an issue onboard the ship other than the limitations it will put on you.

All down to what repair is needed, is an op required to pin it?

You also need to check with your insurers, if you have not already done so. When my wife broke her wrist shortly before a holiday the insurers wanted confirmation from a doctor that she was OK to fly and they said the insurance would no longer cover her for anything that happened involving her broken wrist. (We did go and everything was fine.)

When my hand was in a cast and a sling, I and our party was ushered past the que for stansted security and taken down the fast track lane.  It was also repeated at Budapest airport which was rather nice.
