Any experiences on Spirit 8500 or 8000 cabins

Recommended Posts

I would have the possibility to book Spirit 8500 or 8000 cabins. They are Deluxe outside cabins which are significantly larger than normal outsides. But they are right above the nightclub so wondering how much noise there would be. I don’t mind vibration or hearing the anchor etc as it is just normal ship life for me. But loud noise from a nightclub lasting until late at night would be a no no. Unfortunately we cannot book a balcony cabin this time so looking for some alternatives which would get us on a higher deck than 4-5 and extra sq ft is always nice of course. I did a search and a google search too but the only posts I found were from 2007-2008 which really are not that useful anymore.

Walked in the deck seven area a few times.  It used to be part of the casino and very quiet with seating.  See now plans say comedy club for the forward part.  Since those rooms appear to be above an area where the club and casino meet I'd think you'd be ok.

My standard rule of thumb is to booked a cabin nestled between decks with cabins above and below me.  I NEVER book a cabin above or below any public spaces-- nightclub, theater, restaurant (especially below the buffet) or the atrium (lobby).

The Spirit is a wonderful smaller ship.  Enjoy

On a trip from Hawaii to Tahiti we stayed in 8000. It was a hugh room. Be prepared for banging (it was loud) when they are doing repairs during the day for anything in the front of the ship. Also when Capt needs to make up time and speeds up the banging of waves is very loud where we had trouble sleeping.

Close to champagne bar so was nice.

We did not hear anything from casino or shows.
