Possible to transfer passenger name?

Cruise on Norwegian Dawn starts Feb 2024. My husband is having surgery in a few days and, assuming his recovery is normal, will be fine for the cruise. If his recovery is problematic and he cannot travel, can I take someone else with me instead?

I'm assuming you are past final payment? If you are, this makes things more difficult.

 

I would see if I could pay to add a third person to the cabin. This would allow the third person to go with you and already be on the reservation.

Doesn't mean you can't call and ask.  Check-in starts 21 days before departure, if you check in as soon as it's available and check in your husband I have a feeling it would be more difficult to make the change.
