Trouble canceling May 2024 Eclipse cruise, need advice

For the past several days I have been trying to cancel our May 2024 Eclipse cruise, on the website and by phone.  On the website I go to "Change your mind? Cancel Your Reservation" click it and nothing happens.  After several tries, I get locked out of the website.  My husband has been on the phone this morning for 1 1/2 hours, and the recorded voice keeps promising he will be helped as soon as a representative is available.  

 

Has anyone else had this problem?  Any advice on what else we can do?  Thanks in advance.

Did you book direct or thru a travel agent?  If with a TA, I would expect the TA has to do that.

Yeah, probably/maybe dont want to wait that long, but don't pay your final payment.  They will cancel it for you very quickly.  🤪

Thanks, but we want to get our sizable deposit back.  Final payment is not until February.

Well, I guess posting here helped because I went back to the Celebrity website and was able to cancel the cruise.  Now I just hope our deposit shows up on our credit card statement ASAP!
