Checking in & luggage tags

I just want to double check my answer to my SIL who hasn’t cruised before-  AND she doesn’t have a printer…. THANK YOU in advance for any help 😊

the Royal App has the boarding pass.  We shouldn’t need a printed boarding pass- right?

are there luggage tags that can be filled out before giving the suitcases to the porters?

not having a printer is a pain 😉

Yes, the porters have them at the pier.

No, the one in the app will suffice.

Just in case the wi-fi is down at the port, it is a good idea to take a screen shot of your app boarding pass for backup if you don't have a printed boarding pass.

You can also have them printed at the library or UPS store.

If doing a pre cruise hotel stay you can probably print them at the hotel biz center if available. I like to put a luggage tag inside the suitcase as a backup.

When will luggage tags and other cruise documents be sent?  We are at 30 days before our sailing Jan 5

Sometime after today - they won't be sent, you need to look for them in the planner.

I completely forgot to print the tags before we left home. They had blank ones at the port that they put on our bags before we checked in.
