It will be our first time on the Emerald getting on when your cruise is over. Can you comment on how they did reservations? We know we have to go there immediately after we get on the ship as we are doing a 15 day to Panama Canal. Did they have a full cruise discounted price or is it just the $20/$40 offer per day? The Sanctuary looks like where we will need to be. +
Rare CanadianBurger Posted December 10, 2023 Author #28 Share Posted December 10, 2023 (edited) If you book it for the full cruise, it’s $30/day. @MattnTricia They had out little numbered slips and take reservations in order, so get there as quickly as possible. Rare CanadianBurger Posted December 11, 2023 Author #36 Share Posted December 11, 2023 (edited) MDR Dinner tonight was great. I got my Parmesan Basket! Unprompted, our waiter also brought an order of the BBQ ribs for the table, and I’m glad he did, because they were really good. Sorry, I forgot to take pics of the menu. Rare CanadianBurger Posted December 11, 2023 Author #37 Share Posted December 11, 2023 The entertainer tonight was Brianna Faulk. Great voice, but the show was a Tina Turner tribute show, and I’m not the biggest Tina Turner fan. IMG_0866.mov

Rare CanadianBurger Posted December 11, 2023 Author #40 Share Posted December 11, 2023 Fantastic turnout for our Cruise Critic Meet & Greet this morning. There were over 90 that signed up on our roll call, and I think over two-thirds attended, which was quite impressive. We also had a great contingent of officers and senior staff come to visit and take questions.

He did karaoke tonight… Thanks - nothing wrong with karaoke - just not the right venue in Crooners, sorry. On our cruise with him - he had a 'lady/groupie' that set right up front with him, and she had her own songbook!' - we walked out one time, and didn't go in a couple of other times when that was going on. One night between sets, we went in for a minute, and when another entertainer showed up, she grabbed her songbook, asked where was Cory, and left. Agree - keep the karaoke in the Vista Lounge.
Rare CanadianBurger Posted December 11, 2023 Author #44 Share Posted December 11, 2023 We lucked out with our location in the Sanctuary. Not windy at all. But on the port side, it’s crazy windy.

Rare CanadianBurger Posted December 12, 2023 Author #47 Share Posted December 12, 2023 MDR Dinner tonight. The beef tenderloin was melt-in-your-mouth perfect. The duck, not so much (sorry for the bite out of the beef before remembering the pic).

Rare CanadianBurger Posted December 12, 2023 Author #49 Share Posted December 12, 2023 Everyone was looking dapper this evening in Formal Night clothes. The production show tonight was Rock Opera, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. All the performers put on a great show. Then it was time to hit the casino. After an hour and a half of blackjack, we spent some time at the poker table until someone came over and said the casino was closing in ten minutes. All in all, a fantastic evening at sea, and I’m even up $60.
