January 2024 water temperature in Bonaire--warm enough to snorkel?

We're interested in booking Sea Cow, but the water temp is expected to be 80F.

Is it too cold to snorkel without a wet suit?

Would hate to book and be unable to snorkel.

I snorkeled in Bonaire in February. I was wearing a bathing suit and a rash guard (top) and was fine. I'm not happy in cold water so would remember if it was unpleasant!

We live on Bonaire and there has never been a time when we have felt it too cold to snorkel.  80 degree water is lovely and especially since you will be floating, you will be additionally warmed by the sun on your back.   Most people are surprised by how hot it is here even in winter and how warm the sea is year round.   So that you don’t get burned, it’s a good idea to wear an SPF top in the water.   All the best, Kate

We were in Bonaire this week and the water was very nice for snorkeling and diving.

We were snorkeling with Sea Cow in Bonaire last week.  Water was fine and we didn't have wet suits.  It was pretty windy though so I was a bit chilly onboard in-between snorkeling (they have you in the water for around 45 minutes then back on the boat for refreshments for maybe another 45 minutes then back into the water again) I brought a big towel from our cruise-ship and was warm enough when wrapped up in that while out of the water.
