Port to town

We will be in port on February 2, 2024 arriving on the Sky. Was looking to rent a golf cart but looks like we tried to book to late. How far is the walk to town if we just want to wander the stores and  maybe grab a bite to eat? Also is it a safe area? Thanks for any info

Hi, the cruise docks downtown so you are only a couple blocks from restaurants, shops, beautiful ocean promenades, etc. You will be at the center of it all.  Enjoy!

 

You will be safe anywhere on the island.

It’s a pretty easy, flat walk to a few shops at the port and a block or two to some more shops and restaurants.  You can also check under the colorful tents with Bonaire Cruisers.  They may have some cancellations.
