Joy angled balcony?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Has anyone stayed in an angled balcony on the joy? (12th floor) I'm wondering if the ship deck plan is correct and 12316 is an angled balcony or the other angled rooms on the ship for proper location compared to deck plan. Also shows it as a Privasea? NCL booking agent knew nothing about that.

Thank you,

Mark

12316 is an angled balcony. We have stayed in 12800 on the Joy which is also an angled balcony. They are sometimes listed as Privasea but they are definitely angled and open to air. I believe it has to do with the original layout of the ship when it was built for the Asian cruising.

It isn't PrivaSea (many Joy balconies have that incorrect designation) but there is some uncertainty with the accuracy of the deck plans as far as some of the angled balconies. There have been errors found for deck 10 but I believe that deck 12 is accurate.

Thanks, I booked this room for SIL/BIL on our Mexico new years cruise for Dec. 24' it's their first cruise and thought it would give them a little more room out there.
