Onboard booking credit - current amount?

Hi,

 

I purchased a future booking certificate onboard in July 2023 and made a reservation a few weeks later.  My OBBC was $150 in a veranda cabin for an 8 day cruise.  I am now changing that cabin to an Aqua cabin.  I believe the OBB credit should increase to $250 for this cruise but a Celebrity agent said that isn’t so.  Can anyone confirm what the current terms are?

I believe the OBC for some cabin categories were reduced in November 2023. I was on a 10 night cruise in a verandah cabin which I booked using a future booking credit and got $250.

Thank you for answering so quickly.  That does answer my question. The offer I booked under was different in July but apparently Celebrity has changed things once again.  Still I would have expected the terms to remain the same as I did not cancel or rebook, just upgrade.

Yes, the agent did say there were changes in November.

Thats pretty crappy. I'll just book onboard then transfer to a TA to get additional OBC.
