Bus to Galleon beach, need advice

Hi, we are interested in Galleon beach for some R&R, and maybe check out the rum distillery.   Is there a way to take the bus to that beach?  Is the beach decent?  What facilities are there?

 

Last year we took the bus to Nelson's , it was clean and cheap.  And now we know where to catch it!

As one is a public transport enthusiast and/or aficionado, seeking a great beach stay.  Know one will be pleased to note Catherine’s Cafe, (far better than VC), can be reached by a local bus. Book one’s day/lunch in advance.

I notice that you steer everyone away from the beach they are asking about, and direct them to Catherine's.    What is your connection with Catherine's?   Are you an owner, or friend of an owner?

No connection….. just a well informed visitor to the island giving recommendations to assist those who wish to spend their day enjoying the genteel ambience of a quality establishment, same being well away from S.H.T.

One has previously recommended Cecelia’s, Sheer Rocks (who own Catherine’s) and Jackie O’s before JO closed.

Have also given assistance on other islands in the Caribbean
