Yes I can actually, it is only a short way away but Latitudes priority helps a lot.

If you have priority, make sure you mention it at the bag drop at the temporary terminal. We were given a numbered bus ticket and asked to wait until our number was called, I know some people waited there for a long time. Luckily we mentioned we were Sapphire and had priority, we were immediately given a different colour card and told we could alight the next available bus, we waited no time at all at the temporary terminal.

Once bussed to the regular terminal for boarding, its the same procedure as normal, three lines, suites line have first priority, then Latitudes line have second priority, then the long third line of no priority.

Do you remember if there was a line for Priority Access?

If you mean at the temporary building for the bag drop, then no there was not, they hand everyone a numbered bus ticket and ask you to wait until your number is called, at this point you should state you are priority, show them your ticket for validation, and you will be given a different colour ticket for any bus you wish.
At the boarding terminal the normal Priority lines are in operation.

Are reservations necessary for speciality or is it possible for a party of two to just walk up- in your opinion aboard the Star?

You need a reservation, it is highly unlikely you can walk up and get a table on the day.
Online bookings open 120 prior to departure (125 for Top Tier Latitudes).

If you miss the online bookings do it as soon as you board as they only put a small amount online, the rest are filled onboard but the good times fill up quickly

What a sad commentary on our society that NCL has to remind people not to wear clothes with offensive images and text, holes, short shorts, hoodies, etc. What is wrong with people? SMH....

We got a 10 day pass to the Thermal Spa on the Star for our 2021 Greenland/Iceland cruise.  Best money we've ever spent!   We're on the March 3 sailing Buenos Aries to San Antonio and booked it for the 14 days.

why was it so good?

See reply above, the cruise was amazing and Antarctica a very special place, one fantastic cruise.

It was a pleasure meeting and sailing on this cruise . You made it special for us and takes for taking the lead with the best CC meet and great that we have attended in years . May we have your permission to use your photo in our review ? BTW we had  a great post cruise visit to Patagonia of 6 days but on the flight to Miami on Sunday we began to feel sick . We did test positive for Covid yesterday and are directing our time to getting better and our review . It can be found here :

We hope so also .Our next scheduled cruise is on Sunday November 24 , 2024 . It's only a week on the HAL Nieuw Amsterdam going to Grand Turk , Key West , Florida and Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas . It's our favorite ship and the prices are good that time of year so you could add another cruise on either side . It is an American Thanksgiving so the price is a little higher as the kids are out of the school for a week and our children and grandsons will be going . Here's your photo from breakfast .
