Voyager - Quiet corners to chill while waiting for cabins to open?

Nah, embarkation is going to be crowded -- it's just not fun regardless of the choices you make.  Same for disembarkation.  Then the ship will feel rather crowded until the rooms open, but then the public spaces will (mostly) be comfortable.

You can always find quiet spots -- you just need to look around a bit.

Sure, if you want to hid in the corner of a bar somewhere! That's not why most people cruise.

They filled them up with plastic plants first and then took the whole glass aquarium out of Voyager and replaced them with the Chahuly like glass flowers way back.

I'm going to look at them with that in mind.

Bars, even the corners, are crowded.

Viking Crown is never busy.

I recall a couple times that weddings have been held in Viking Crown on embarkation day.  Not only busy but also was unavailable to non wedding guests.

Crown Lounge sounds great!  We've done a few Celebrity cruises of late, and Celebrity allows one to take their carryon's to the cabin and drop them off.  The Adventure OS [in Dec] didn't allow this and had cabins 'closed off'.  Would be nice if Voyager allowed a drop off of carry ons...backpacks and that sort of thing.  Without the backpacks etc, embarkation day can be a day of exploration of the ship, something we love to do.  But if not, we do love the Crown Lounge, one of our favorite places.  Of course, due to this thread, we imagine it too will be crowded, LOL.  They make great martini's there [on other Voyager class ships anyway].  Just sayin'. Have a great cruise everyone.  This one should be 'exceptional'!!

I you go to guest service and say you have medication and you would like to put in your cabin. They should let you.

But Viking crown lounge is nice.

OP will have a large wagon loaded with stuff. Staff will be very busy turning over the cabins with their large carts in the hallways, that is why no access is allowed before they are done. I don’t think it’s good advice to have OP try to get through the closed hallway to their cabin.
