Labadee Snorkeling

First time RCI cruiser wondering what the snorkeling situation is at Labadee.....I'm asking about self-directed as opposed to the "Safari".  I'm an advanced diver and a guide led mule train of novices is typically a lesson in disappointing frustration for me.  Any beaches with good natural structure, or just endless sand??

I have not visited Labadee for some time, but I remember from previous visits swimming to the rocks at Adrenaline (?) beach and snorkeling there. It is better earlier in the morning when water is clearer.
