Activities on Freedom of the Seas while in port

Recommended Posts

We will be on a 3 night sailing to Coco Cay and Nassau.  We may go off the ship for a little while but wondered if there were still a lot of activities/entertainment going on onboard while docked, eg. trivia, game shows, music.  Thanks!

I have cruised on Freedom frequently since she started doing 3/4 day cruises from Miami. When the ship is at port there is not too much going on around the ship, especially at Coco Cay, since a lot of crew members leave the ship to work on the island. They will usually host a few trivia games in the Schooner Bar on port days. The pools, hot tubs and slides are usually open on port days too. The one big exception is the casino stays open when the ship is at Coco Cay. From my experience it varies from cruise to cruise, but the casino can get pretty crowded when the ship is at Coco Cay.
