Chilkoot bus tour to Emerald Lake-Closed on Sundays-Other Options.

Found the Chilkoot Bus Tour to Emerald Lake out of Skagway and it looked perfect for us, but it does not run on the Sunday we are there.

Is the Chilkoot Train/Bus tour worth the extra cost or is there another similar bus tour that you would recommend.

Yes the combo tour is worth it! The views are different on train than bus.

 

I recommend the combo tour for the first time in Skagway. As long as it is the all day tour (and not the shorter tour).

Bennett Lake is the best.  More time on the train.
