Walking/shopping

We'll be arriving with Carnival on a weekday.  Is there anything interesting and close enough to walk to?  Wife likes shopping.  I'm looking at a local lunch, perhaps a small museum or such.  We went years ago and did a tour bus tour, hell, the Turtles, etc...  I'm going to snorkel in Cozumel, so I won't be doing that here.  Thanks.

As long as the weather cooperates, you tender right into downtown.  Lots of shopping, mostly high end or tourist stuff, lots of restaurants, plus a small museum.
