YYCJim Posted February 27 #1 Share Posted February 27 Hi, we are taking the Norwegian Prima out of Reykjavik and the ship departs at 6pm. We are booked in The Haven ( first time and very excited). Does anyone have an idea as to what time we'll be able to board? Thanks to all in advance.
CruiserBruce Posted February 27 #2 Share Posted February 27 Certainly by noon, possibly earlier.
9tee2Sea Posted February 27 #3 Share Posted February 27 You can always get to the ship early. As a Haven guest, you will be escorted into the Haven Lounge ( if there is one in Reykjavik). You will wait in the lounge, with snacks, until the concierge calls for Haven Passengers. I boarded my cruise ( In Miami) around 11:30. Rooms were ready about 1pm. Had lunch in the Haven Restaurant until the rooms were ready
Rare Anoynmous Phoenix Posted February 27 #4 Share Posted February 27 @YYCJim While we were not in the Haven we were Ambassadors when we boarded the Prima in Reykjavik last summer. When you have dropped of your luggage and you enter the tent make sure that they know that you are in the Haven and they will take care of you, we had to push a little as those doing the "introduction" were not Cruise Line people. We did and were treated royally and were on very early, at the front of the queue; but we had arrived even before the supposed first time on offer at the online check-in. An aside; the taxi fare from our hotel near Hlemmur was about USD20 and took about 15 minutes.
