Advice needed- can we pull off a 1/2 day wine tour from Adelaide Cruise Port?

REALLY wanted to visit a couple wineries in either Barossa, McLaren Vale or Adelaide Hills, but it looks like we're in port 7am-4pm. Would this be at all doable if we get a private driver? From what I can see, it's about an hour from the cruise terminal to any of the regions so if we left at 9ish we could maybe pull off 2 wineries & lunch & get back about 3 (to get some wiggle room). Thoughts? If it's doable do you have a recommendation for transport?

If you google "Adelaide shore excursions"a number of results appear. Look for individual tour guides, not consolidators. Bums on Seats is one which looked good to me.

We used Bums on seats in March.  I’m not sure they can do a shorter version but we really enjoyed our tour with them.  It’s worth asking. We did the tour that also went to Hahndorf.
