RoperDK Posted March 28 #1 Share Posted March 28 We are thinking of using the trade in value on an already booked cruise. If you use the trade in value of $500, will they just reduce the current booking price or will they have to reprice to the current value? What about an instant cruise certificate? Hoping that you can just reduce the booked cost because repricing wouldn't help at all.
Cigar King Posted March 28 #2 Share Posted March 28 I thought the annual cruise was *only* useable on a new booking? I guess we'll know for sure in a few weeks when they are issued.
dna1990 Posted March 28 #3 Share Posted March 28 I JUST did this (via phone), because my annual was expiring and we never found another date to use it. We had an existing booking (made via NextCruise back in July23 for a cruise in July24). They reduced the invoice amount on that cruise by the $500 Trade-In value. Noting the fine print on the Tier23 annual cruise stated it had to be used on a sailing by Mar 31, 24 - but they never asked about that. I have not heard of Instant Certs being used on existing bookings - but call and keep asking. Maybe eventually you get some Freeplay or OBC for it. 1
