WESTEAST Posted April 28 #1 Share Posted April 28 Our cruise will stop in St. Helier, Jersey and intrigued about touring sights of World War II five year German occupation of Jersey: Noirmont headlands for bunkers, observations towers, the War Tunnels complex underground known as Ho8. Curious to hear any feedback from anyone who has visited this part of Jersey. Thank you.
Rare Harters Posted April 28 #2 Share Posted April 28 I've visited the War Tunnels, albeit several years back, when we holidayed on the island for a week. The "occupation exhibits" are fascinating and I'd absolutely recommend a visit. I recall coastal bunkers but can't recall any details.
